Activity: Activity in Choice



LAVIVRUS
The world is on the verge of nuclear war. There is only one shelter. You have received a list of 12 candidates as a member of the United Nation Select Committee, you must recommend your six persons from the following list but the committee must who will repopulate the earth and continue civilization.



Individuals
1.      A 16 year old male prostitute, questionable IQ (intelligence), dropped out of high school. 
2.      A 43 year old former policeman, thrown off the force for brutality, always carries an illegal gun, suspected homosexual. 
3.      A 60 year old racial priest
4.      A 36 year old medical doctor, lesbian
5.      A 38 year old female, world famous model, suspect in a million dollar jewel theft. 
6.      A 20 year old black revolutionary, PH.D from a prominent university.
7.      A 40 year old ex-prostitute-call-girl, retired 4 years, HIV positive, and pregnant.
8.      A 26 year old blind male law student.
9.      The 25 year old wife of the blind male law student (#8), has an incurable blood disease that is hereditary – note – if #8 is chosen, then #9 must be chosen. 
     10.  A 55 year old politician, male, convicted for misconduct in public office, imprisoned for 7 years, 
           been out for 6 months.
11.  A young male school teacher brilliant in multiple fields alleged to have relationships with students.
      12. A Feminist in her early 40’s who is a renowned humanitarian, promotes equal opportunity and  
            pro-choice.

FEEL FREE TO INTERACT WITH PEERS ON THEIR SELECTIONS.

    I chose 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 & 11 because in my view these are the best suitable candidates to repopulate the earth. Yes they have their different issues but they are at the right age to pro-create.

    INDIVDUALS I WILL CHOOSE
    1. The 16 year for his youth and strength, procreation reasons.
    2. The 36 year old medical doctor to take care of the medical needs and also so to teach to the new society.
    3. The famous model again for procreation.
    4. The 43 year old former policeman to maintain law and order.
    5. The 60 year old religious priest. Hopefully this crisis will put things in prospective for him and he will be able to deliver God’s word and instructions to all men.
    6. The black revolutionary to help reserve culture and to educate.

      Aren't you concerned that the policeman might interfere with the procreation especially of the suspicions of his sexual orientation and history of brutality are combined?

    6. A 20 year old black revolutionary, PH.D from a prominent university.( He will help keep order and also promote education)

      Dear, Mr. Spring.when I say pro-choice i don't mean anything about what you are thinking about i do know what the word mean advocating open legal access to voluntary abortion or even supporting guy right. but i am not speaking in that way what i am simply saying this is feminist, and i am speaking about free to choose, one is free to choose is is a freedom of a person own choice to choose to be a feminist ok. not in the sense of dealing with abortion.

    #1, perhaps with a different pedagogy, he could be a scholar.
    #5, to provide for the reproduction.
    #3, to exert some form of religious teaching
    #6, because he is well learnt and that can be taught to the new breed.
    #10 for experience on governance
    #9, we need more females. An incurable disease doesn't mean life-threatening illness

      I agree Jonathan with #9, however if a priest is racial then the teachings will be skewered so I would prefer to leave him behind.

    I would choose 1,4,5,6,7 and 11 because they can repopulate the earth.Especially number 5 because she is a model the others are not to old so they can reproduce.

    5, 6, 8,9, 11and 12 I believe this is a good balance that can repopulate the earth and continue civilisation. After all the earth was populated by a man and a woman, and following that eight persons.

    My choices are as follows:
    3- despite the shortcomings of the priest, he is necessary for spiritual and moral reasons.
    4- a doctor is needed for medical reasons.
    6 and 11. For educational purposes as well as the young teacher involvement with students may help with reproduction.
    1- This young boy will also help with reproduction given that might be around the same age as the students in the school.

      what if he is that racial that he refused to teach the word of God, 40 yr old ex-prostitute, 16 yr old male prostitute, Lesbian, the suspected homosexual, and black revolutionary what then, and don't want to repopulate the earth and continue civilization with these people. WHAT THEN!
